We Started Our Partnership with the Chess Federation

Today, the signing ceremony of the official partnership agreement between the "Sirab" brand and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) was held.

The event was attended by Sirab’s Founder and CEO Alper Yaycılı, Head of Marketing Nərmin Məmmədova, ACF President Mahir Məmmədov, and ACF First Vice President Faig Hasanov.

At the beginning of the event, the water sponsorship was formalized. The agreement was signed by Alper Yaycılı and Mahir Məmmədov.
During the signing ceremony, Alper Yaycılı emphasized the importance of this partnership for the company:
“Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in the world of chess. At Sirab, we are proud to support such a noble sport. Our collaboration with the Azerbaijan Chess Federation is no coincidence — it reflects our commitment to sports and the value we place on the success of the Azerbaijani people.

The recent achievements of Azerbaijani chess players have been a great source of pride for us. Ülviyyə Fətəliyeva’s victory at the European Championship brought us great joy. Last year, during the prestigious World Cup tournament held in Baku, 309 players from over 80 countries chose Sirab, which further confirmed the quality of our product.

Speaking at the event, ACF President Mahir Məmmədov praised the partnership with Sirab:
“Sirab is one of the most loved water brands in our country. Our cooperation began even before the official contract. During the days of the World Cup in Baku last year, Sirab was there for the players. For an entire month, top chess players from around the world chose Sirab. It is not only loved in Azerbaijan but also abroad. I hope our partnership will be successful and long-lasting.”

At the end of the event, ACF gifted Sirab a chessboard signed by star players who participated in the World Cup in Baku. Sirab presented a specially prepared creative gift to the federation — a custom chess set featuring mini sculptures of renowned Azerbaijani players: Teymur Rəcəbov, Şəhriyar Məmmədyarov, Ülviyyə Fətəliyeva, and Ayan Allahverdiyeva.

According to the agreement, Sirab will serve as the official water provider at chess tournaments organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.

It should be noted that Sirab, with over 75 years of history and produced to meet international standards, has received numerous prestigious awards abroad — including the top 3-star rating at the “Superior Taste Award” in Brussels.
